What is the HyperNode for?

The HyperNode is an Encrypting/Decrypting piece of hardware that is your secure access and control unit sitting next to your target device. It creates a secure connectivity bridge between the accessing technician and the device itself secured by hardware based encryption. It also give you more powerful access and control over the local hardware:

It can connect you to the local Serial Console of the device
It can allow you to switch on and off the device by switching off/on the Mains power
It can provide a secondary access path to the device, in case the main network access goes down, via a secondary network path or an out of band access via GSM/GPRS/3G or even analog telephone line connection.
